Earth Hour

Join us and many other individuals, businesses, cities and states on Saturday March 27th at 8:30 and turn off your lights.   According to the official Earth Hour website "In 2009, more than 4,000 cities in 87 countries went dark. Here in the United States, and estimated 80 million Americans participated, along with 318 cities and 8 US states."

We will be using soy candles to light our home for the hour to help save energy and increase awareness of how we can save our natural resources and encourage energy savings.  Throughout the rest of the week, we will be posting energy saving tips and ideas on how to live green to help raise awareness for this event.  Visit the earth hour website today to sign-up to pledge to participate in the event as well as to learn more about what you can do to reduce your energy use year round.
